Dr. Hong is an anesthesiologist and pain specialist who specializes in the non-opioid management of chronic pain using advanced minimally invasive procedures.

He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Canada and an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Toronto. He has Active Staff privileges at St. Michael’s Hospital.

The consultation request should contain the salient information including demographics, reason for consultation, and background history with appropriate appended information including but not restricted to the following:

  • Medication list
  • Relevant imaging study reports such as MRI, CT, X-rays or EMG/ NCS
  • Reports of previous pain treatments
